Upcoming Update — Gameplay Balance

We’re preparing a new balance update focused on making combat outcomes feel more consistent and team building choices more meaningful, along with giving more prestige to the leader role.


Max Stats Reduced to 110
Maximum player stats are being reduced from 120 to 110. In practice, 110 will now represent the power level that 120 was meant to represent, and the stat curve is being adjusted so previous stat levels should also feel stronger than before.

There haven’t been enough boosts, or high enough limits, for players to realistically reach 120. Because of that, the unreachable ceiling has been making players perform worse than intended relative to their actual stat level.

This change helps keep stat scaling cleaner, easier to understand, and better balanced across all systems, especially with talents, boosts, and future progression mechanics.


New Leader Passive
Leaders will now provide a passive skill boost to the rest of the team.

Players other than the leader will receive a 0.2% small boost to all skills for each of the leader’s level, capped at 5%.

This makes the leader role more impactful outside of direct performance and gives teams another reason to develop strong leadership within their roster.

To support this change, we are also increasing the amount of academy tryouts generated with the Leader icon. This should make leadership prospects more accessible and give managers more opportunities to develop future leaders from their academy. Additionally, we are increasing the leaders generated in the transfer list.


Morale Boost Removed
With the addition of the new leader passive, we are removing the old morale boost.

Previously, morale gave players up to a 3% skill boost mostly for staying active, only dropping after several weeks without logging in. Since this was effectively a passive bonus with little decision-making behind it, we’re replacing it with the new leadership boost, which makes the bonus more intentional and tied to team-building.


Weapon Talents Rework
Weapon talents are being reworked.

Instead of giving a flat Aim + Handling boost when using a specific weapon, weapon talents will now improve the actual performance of that weapon more directly.

This means these talents will actually impact things like recoil mitigation, accuracy, etc in a way stats are not doing.

The goal is to make weapon mastery feel less like a hidden stat boost and more like real specialization.


Damage Distance Penalty Rework
Weapon damage distance penalties are being adjusted.

We noticed weapon damage was falling off too abruptly and too soon, sometimes causing a weapon to suddenly feel much worse from only a small change in distance.


Overall Goal
The goal of this update is to make combat feel more consistent, make sure stat related boost only leave, and make specialization systems more meaningful without relying too much on simple stat boosts.

More exact numbers may still change before release.

    feedback about new tryout system - tryouts are terrible bad 716  total limit players, after first seasons system was implemented with aim that just in case you don't get tryout in 100 day time. Now it's that everyone needs to wait 100 days to get tryout.. Before it was possible to get normal tryouts, now it's no chance at all. I reported that tryout frequency is not correct but who cares.

    Leaders at the moment have the 3% boost, so from now on they should get 0 passive skill boost (morale) with this update? Just the rest of the team will receive the boost from the lvl of leadership? Example: Leader lvl 16 should get 3,2% to other players (0,2% from 1 lvl) but him will not recive any boost (just equipement and hearth), correct?  Thanks.
