Season 11 Preview

Hey everyone, here is what’s coming for Season 11.

We’re introducing a set of changes aimed at improving progression, reward distribution, and long-term balance across all competitions.


Ladder Rewards Overhaul

We’ve reworked ladder rewards so progression is meaningful across all tiers, not just the very top.
Top 60% → 300 RP
Top 40% → 600 RP
Top 20% → 1000 RP
Top 40 players → 1240 RP base
From there, each position adds +40 RP, scaling up to 3000 RP for #1

This ensures that more teams earn relevant rewards and that percentage-based bonuses from seasonal focus have a stronger impact.


Championship RP Rebalance

Before introducing seasonal focus, we’re adjusting Championship to reduce snowballing slightly since right now is granting more than Ladder + League combined and the seasonal mission reward would just exacerbate that effect.

We are also removing the RP from the Championship stages qualification and moving it to the Contenders / Challengers groups instead.

Championship Legends
1st: 6000 => 5000
2nd: 5500 => 4600
3rd: 5000 => 4200
4th: 4500 => 3600
5–8: 3000 => unchanged
9–16: 2000 => 2500
17–25: 1000 => 1800
26–32: 500 => 1300

Championship Challengers
5–8: 1350 → 1500
9–16: 950 → 1000
New: Group 3rd/4th → 700
New: Group 5th/6th → 400

Championship Contenders
New: Group 3rd/4th → 250
New: Group 5th/6th → 150


Seasonal Focus & Missions

Next season introduces Seasonal Challenges. You’ll choose one competition to focus on:
- League
- Ladder
- Championship

Each focus comes with:
- A passive +5% RP bonus in that competition
- A set of placement-based objectives

Even if you don’t complete your objective, you still benefit from committing to a focus.

Mission rewards scale by difficulty:
Easy → +10% RP
Medium → +30% RP
Hard → +60% RP

In addition to RP bonuses, missions also grant CPL and Media Points:
Easy → 3 Media Points
Medium → 6 Media Points
Hard → 10 Media Points

Tier Adjustment
We are reducing the A-Tier cutoff from 35% to 30%.

We identified a large number of A-Tier teams consistently dominating the Contenders tournament, which indicates the current threshold is too low. This change raises the competitive floor and improves mission targeting.


Sponsor System Rework

Sponsors are being redesigned to provide more consistent and scalable value.

Weekly secured income now scales with your media rating
Mission rewards scale with your media points

Sponsors will include a mix of objectives such as:
- Win 30 rounds in league
- Play 10 scrims
- Create a tactic with 6 waypoints

This creates a clearer connection between activity, performance, and earnings.


Map Pool Update
All v2 maps will enter the active pool next season.

v1 maps will remain available for a few seasons to allow time for migration. While there may still be minor issues, the new system makes them significantly easier to identify and fix.
