§1.5 Evidence, Investigations & Enforcement

b. Player reports, screenshots, or external messages may initiate an investigation but do not constitute proof on their own.
c. Suspicion, assumptions, or public opinion are not sufficient grounds for sanctions.
d. CPL applies a graduated penalty system. Sanctions are determined based on severity, intent, and repetition of violations and may escalate over time.
e. Not all penalties are permanent. CPL uses a decay-based system where warnings and certain sanctions may expire after a period of compliant behavior. Continued rule compliance is expected during this period; additional violations may result in escalation or reset of the decay process.
f. While CPL aims to handle cases fairly and transparently, internal tools, detection methods, and detailed evidence remain confidential to protect system integrity, user privacy, and effective enforcement.
g. In cases where a user is under investigation and claims innocence, the user is required to reasonably cooperate with the admin team. This includes, but is not limited to, answering relevant questions and providing requested materials.
A refusal or failure to cooperate without a valid justification may be treated as an adverse inference and may result in disciplinary action.
