Hey everyone! Happy Sunday!

I want to give you a heads-up about some changes to the event system coming next season.

Right now, several events are either broken or effectively useless (many were tied to morale), and event point decay per season is so aggressive that progress is barely noticeable. Long term, we want this system to become more interactive, with meaningful choices for how players handle situations.

For now, these are balance and reliability fixes.

EVENT CHANGES

Podcast

  • Condition:player streaming
  • Frequency: once per week (was once per month)
  • Money: $0 (was $500)
  • Event points: 2
  • Chance: 20% (was 1%)

Donation

  • Condition: player streaming
  • Frequency: no more than once every 10 days
  • Money: $300
  • Event points: 1 (was 0)
  • Chance: 20% per fame level

Meet & greet

  • Condition: random
  • Frequency: once every 10 days (was every 20 days)
  • Money: $0 (was $400)
  • Event points: 2 (was 1)
  • Chance: 20% (was 10%)

Birthday party

  • Condition: on player birthday
  • Frequency: once every 30 days (didn't have a cooldown)
  • Event points: 1 (was 0)
  • Chance: 100% (was 50%)

Great win

  • Condition: win official game
  • Frequency: once per week (didn't have a cooldown)
  • Event points**: 1 (was 0)
  • Chance: 20% (was 5%)

Interview

  • Condition: official game mvp
  • Frequency: once every 10 days (didn't have a cooldown)
  • Money: $500
  • Event points: 1
  • Chance: 15% (was 1.5%)

Fine for toxic behaviour

  • Condition: lose league game
  • Frequency: once every 7 days (didn't have a cooldown)
  • Money: -$800
  • Event points: 0 (was 1)
  • Chance: 3%

Fine for teammates fights

  • Condition: lose ladder game
  • Frequency: once every 10 days (didn't have a cooldown)
  • Money: -$500
  • Event points: 0 (was 1)
  • Chance: 3%

Late to online event (NEW)

  • Condition: play tournament game
  • Frequency: once every 20 days
  • Money: -$300
  • Chance: 3%

EVENT POINTS DECAY

  • Before: −50% every season
  • Now: −10% per season (rounded down)

These are quick and low effort changes, but they can make a big impact and overall better experience.
