Season 8 is just around the corner and we have an update scheduled for league structure and system changes.

League filling & balancing

Next season, all four Master leagues will be fully populated.

To achieve this, teams will bubble up starting from Emerald Division until all leagues are filled.

Additionally, Emerald, Diamond, and Master divisions will be balanced based on team rankings, ensuring each league has a fair mix of top, mid, and bottom teams.

Reworked prizes

We are adjusting the league prizes, specially focusing in the highest leagues, giving a more fair RP to those who deserve it.

Bottom leagues cleanup

We have quite a mess on the lower divisions, with new users stacked up in Gold division.

For those, there won't be any bubble up, and only the top 3 teams will be promoted automatically.
All other teams remain in their division with an exception:C-Tier teams in Gold will be demoted to Silver. Unless of course they finished top 3.

New users will start in Silver, and each Silver league will allow a maximum of 3 human-controlled teams. This rule will only apply to bottom divisions.

New promotion & demotion system

Moving forward, a new competitive promotion system is being introduced:

• #1 in each league → automatic promotion
• #2 → qualification tournament vs:
  • - another #2 from a parallel league
  • - a #8 team from the higher division
• #9 and #10 → automatic demotion
• #8 → qualification tournament to avoid relegation
  

This means a minimum of 50% teams will stay in the league, creating meaningful competition without chaos.

Match streaming revenue update

Streaming revenue has been reworked:

- Matches vs bot teams now grant a fixed 1,000 CPL.

- Matches vs human teams grant higher revenue, scaled by:

   - Both teams’ media points

   - The league division
